On to another chapter...

That's right, I'm entering another season in my life, being a stay at home wife and mom!!!!! My last day of work was this last Friday!!! WEIRD. I've been working since I was 15, it seems a bit unreal still that I won't have to get up and go to work, my work is right here in my favorite place, my home. I went to a women's conference this weekend at our church and the woman speaking put it in a great way. A stay at home wife and mom's job is to "make a haven" for her family to live in and come home to. What a responsibility! Is my home a haven? If not, I better get on it!! The baby's room is complete, most of the house it clean :) but I have lots of projects I would like to tackle before the baby makes her arrival. I was 34 weeks this Saturday, only a few weeks left to go! So crazy! I'M going to be a MOM! Through all of these changes, I feel the Lord's amazing grace pouring out on our lives. My heart is so filled with joy for this time to have finally arrived! He is so good when we are so undeserving. I'm so excited to see my little girl and to see what the future holds for us! I'm also looking forward to catching up with so many girls I haven't had a chance to hang out with in so long. So girls, I'm available! Give me a holler or I'll give you one! Hope everyone has a wonderful, sunshiny week!

Cancer FREE!

I just got back from the dermotologist and the biopsy came back negative! Praise the Lord! The doc said he doesn't see a positive outcome with these certain types of moles usually, I guess I'm a rare case! But we all knew that! :) I'm just so thankful that everything turned out great and I won't need to get anymore procedures done, especially during the pregnancy. The Lord is always so faithful!
